VSP Global Names Gordon Jennings, OD, New Chairman of the Board

Dr. Jennings previously served as the vice chairman. He has been in private practice in Wytheville, Virginia for more than 30 years, and has served on VSP Global’s board since 2010. "We are pleased to have Gordon lead the VSP Global board of directors,” said outgoing board chairman, Daniel L. Mannen, OD, FAAO.

SECO International Names Dr. J. Max Ernst, OD, as 2020 President

Morial Convention Center. Dr. Ernst began his studies at the University of Michigan, obtaining his BS in Biology in 1981.

NECO Names Erik Weissberg Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs

Dr. Weissberg graduated from NECO in 1997, before going on to complete a residency in pediatrics in 1998. That same year, he was appointed assistant professor in the specialty and care advanced program at NECO and in 2009 was promoted to professor of optometry with tenure. In 2008, Dr. Weissberg was named director of clinical education, a role he has served in ever since.
