Practitioners are able to customize the lens themselves by setting the parameters for central, mid-peripheral, limbal and edge zones. The design serves as its own platform from which multifocal, oblate and front toric geometries can be ordered, the company said.

Costa has debuted two new lightweight frames to its Beach collection. These two frames, the Piper and the Canaveral, are made from corrosion-free titanium. The Piper is a petite aviator while the Canaveral is a traditional navigator style. Built off of the success of Costa’s popular Cook and Shipmaster styles, the Piper and the Canaveral will allow Costa to establish a more robust Beach Titanium Metal family of lifestyle frames within the Beach collection, the company said. “We’re blending function with style with these pieces by building them with lightweight titanium and custom color rubber temple tips.
