RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.— VSP Vision Care is kicking off a component of its larger consumer fall open enrollment campaign with the debut this week of “Your Eyes Deserve a VSP Vacation,” an online game on its SeeMuchMore.com site. The game is a new way that VSP and its ECP providers, the company said, is planning to educate consumers about why they should consider vision benefits for their families and the overall importance of eye health.

The new, interactive game is easy to play and offers prizes, ranging from designer sunglasses to a grand prize vacation to Maui, Hawaii, Orlando, Fla., New Orleans, La. or Vail, Colo.

Mobile and Use of Smartphones Are Driving Twitter Usage

NEW YORK—One out of seven Americans who go online use Twitter and 8 percent do it every day, according to a February 2012 survey by the Pew Research Center.

In addition, the number of Twitter users has doubled in the past two years to 15 percent of online adults. Those who use Twitter on a typical day has doubled since May 2011 and has quadrupled since late 2010, probably due to the growing use of smartphones.
