Broadway Vision Source Named Winner of CV+ Award for Excellence in Practice Marketing

By CLICK Staff

PLEASANTON, Calif.—Mike Matsunami, OD, from Broadway Vision Source, Seattle, Wash., is one optometrist who has significantly improved his practice’s digital media presence with the help and strategies provided by CooperVision’s CV+ Program. In fact, Dr. Matsunami has been named the winner of the company’s first annual CV+ Award for Excellence in Practice Marketing.

After only nine months of enrollment in CV+, Broadway Vision Source saw an overall improvement in its CV+ score from 46 to 64.

CV+ is a CooperVision program that offers eyecare professionals an electronic marketing suite of services to help them embrace technology and digital marketing for their practices. CooperVision created this award to recognize practices that have successfully implemented the strategies recommended to them by the CV+ Team and have dramatically improved their digital presence. This award is intended to honor an eyecare practice enrolled in CooperVision’s CV+ Program for its overall success in digital marketing.

Dr. Matsunami told CLICK, “As a typical OD on the frontlines of optometry, the CV+ Social program has been an extremely useful and cost-effective resource social media campaign at Broadway Vision Source. It has created a win-win for my office and CooperVision through increased revenue via easier/instant access to inventoried lenses for patients who might have otherwise obtained their lenses elsewhere (online).

“With a current Facebook 'reach' of over 100,000,” he added, “the initial investment into the CV+ Social program will pay itself off many times over. Furthermore, I no longer have to fret about hiring a social media blogger, or doing it myself.” Here is a link to the Broadway Vision Source website.

The award winner was selected by a panel that considered each eyecare practice’s web presence, social media engagement, online reputation and CV+ scores. The CV+ score takes into account over 100 sources of input such as Facebook likes, business profiles, overall reach, and online reviews to provide a unique measure of a practice’s effectiveness at managing technologies and its online presence.

CooperVision’s CV+ Program launched in 2011. The program is a business partnership between optometrists and CooperVision, focused on enhancing the value of eyecare practices through the use of new technologies. It provides eyecare practitioners with a suite of information and services designed to enhance and grow their practice. More information is posted here.
