McGee Launches Argyleculture by Russell Simmons Eyewear
Quick Take: The McGee Group has introduced a new men’s line of optical frames from Argyleculture by Russell Simmons. Like the brand, the collection represents understated luxury, sophistication and the modern American lifestyle.

Specifics: Eight optical styles is offered in two colors named after a true music legend.
Selling Points: Argyleculture Eyewear features European colors, masculine designs in multiple sizes, edgy metal embellishments and a hint of classic Ivy League heritage. The Magriffe and Hendrix are full rim handmade acetate frames featuring Italian triple laminate and modern rectangle eyeshapes. The Reuben, Hancock and Marsalis are all semi-rimless metal/plastic combination frames with laser embellished end pieces and epoxy filled double laminate acetate available in a single or double bridge design. The Dorsey and Ellington are full metal frames; the Dorsey has a higher bridge for a more modern look and square cutouts on the temple, while the Ellington features a more classic look with a marbled design on the acetate temples and an argyle patterned accent near the hinge.
