Viva Bows Mark Nason Eyewear for Spring/Summer
Quick Take: Viva International Group has introduced the Mark Nason Eyewear Spring/Summer 2012 collection.
Wearer: Fans of the classic rock ‘n’ roll elements and signature embellishments seen in the brand’s couture leather boot designs.
Specifics: The collection consists of 13 ophthalmic styles and 18 sunglass styles for men and women with design elements that include the Mark Nason “signature” dragon, crosses and detailed roses.

Mikli Reinvents Aviator in ‘Mileage’ Collection
Quick Take: Alain Mikli International has introduced the Mileage Collection consisting of several interpretations of the iconic aviator frame from designer Alain Mikli.

Specifics: In the line the universal and timeless frame has been reworked into a collection of eight styles, each of which can be fit with prescription lenses and is available in four or six colors.
Selling Points: The collection’s name pays tribute to the legend of aviation and cars. Everything from ophthalmic and sunglass styles, to metals and acetates, to sports and sophisticated styles are represented so that young and old, men or women, can find a Mileage frame that suits them. Marchon Presents Fendi S/S 2012 Collection
Quick Take: This Spring/Summer 2012 season, Marchon debuts a Fendi sun and optical collection that embodies the timeless and iconic design elements synonymous with the luxurious fashion house.
Specifics: Four new optical styles and four new sun styles.
Selling Points: The double “F” logo is inlayed onto rich zyl in unique forms, whether on end pieces or repeating, layered onto triple laminate temples. Color blocking highlights frame shapes that are skillfully crafted from both custom zyl and polished metal. Sleek and unexpected, Fendi pushes expectations and reinterprets the Fendi “F” to create innovative temples, re-emphasizing the fashion forward philosophy of the legendary brand. For sun, the FS5257, inspired by the Fendi “Mia” handbag, is made of plastic in a cat-eye shape with the Fendi interlocking double “F” logo is inlayed onto end pieces underneath a distinctive brow that extends towards temples. Featured in the S/S 2012 Fendi ad campaign, the FS5261 is inspired by the RTW Cruise collection with strategic color blocking that highlights the curves of the modified, slightly rounded, cat-eye frame. Smooth zyl lines and metal corners describe the modern FS5211 where the Fendi double “F” pattern is discreetly hidden in custom double laminate zyl. Lastly, the FS5226 reinvents the square frame with metal corner accents on a molded polished metal frame. In ophthalmics, the F977 and F960 feature elongated classic elements in a contemporary, sleek style. The F968 integrates the iconic Fendi logos prominently on the frame fronts in an uplifting cat-eye shape. Finally, the F973 features the Fendi double “F” logo inlayed onto the temples in a classic square shape.

Lindberg Debuts New Styles to Several Collections
