McGee Presents the Badgley Mischka Eyewear Collection
Quick Take: The McGee Group has launched the new Badgley Mischka eyewear collection inspired by Badgley Mischka’s signature fabrics, layering and draping.

Zyloware Launches Project Runway Eyewear

WestGroupe Adds Styles to the Evatik Sun Collection
Quick Take: WestGroupe has expanded its Evatik Sun collection for men with new styles that incorporate pattern and three-dimensional design with single and double bridge styles available.

ImageWear Expands Wildflower Collection
Quick Take: ImageWear, a division of Walman Optical, has added new styles to their Wildflower collection designed to encourage young women to “express their true nature.”
Specifics: The styles - Fireweed, Jacobs Ladder, Iris and Fawnlilly, combine colors and textures from bold to subtle with flattering eyewear shapes resulting in four new offerings.

Legacie Introduces New Kata Temple Concept
Quick Take: Legacie, the luxury house of B. Robinson, has introduced a new Kata temple concept – the Block group.

Mykita Unveils Colors and Rounds in Decades Collection
Spring/Summer 2013 sees a continuation of the color and design concept behind the Mykita Decade line. The collection, released each year in sync with the Paris fashion shows, welcomes new tones for the season. The colors for sunglass models Marlene and Scarlett represent a break from the classic with coral red, pastel grey and opal, international blue, jet black and safrane. “Round” is also a definitive element for both the prescription spectacles and the sunglasses line of Decades. The Marlene is a supersized variation on the classic panto form, while the primary design element for the Scarlett is the geometric circle. Both feature gold-coated hinges and a semi-matte finish. For prescription, the “round” theme appears again in the new models Coco and Bibi. The latter combines bold dimensions with circular lenses, with the prominent bridge providing the contrast to the frame; while in the Coco the bridge is the main stylistic element as well. Both models are hand-painted and available in gold/coral red, gold/opal and silver/black.
