ProDesign Adds Styles to the Essentials Collection
Quick Take: ProDesign has added styles to their Essential collection featuring slender shapes in refreshing two-tone colors.
Specifics: Six new shapes, styles 1258 through 1263, which includes four styles for women and two for men. All are available in three to four colors each.
Selling Points: The influence of the strong retro-wave is apparent in the shapes of the new styles, but the collection has gone in a much lighter direction, abandoning the heavy look of many retro collections. According to ProDesign, the lightness of the frames fit very well with the natural lines of the face and the colors are subtle and soft with gradients ranging from dark to very light in the same color scheme. The exclusive color gradients of this collection are achieved through a difficult process of coloring the frames by hand, one at a time. The gradient coloration of the metal is repeated in the colors of the acetate end tips to obtain a uniformity of the entire frame design.
