Eyenavision Bows Chemistrie Blue Lens for Digital Eye Strain

More Images
Quick Take: To filter out the blue light from digital devices that can cause eye strain, Eyenavision, Inc. has released the new Chemistrie Blue computer lens layer that can attach to any pair of glasses using the company’s patented Chemistrie magnetic lens layering technology.
Specifics: Using a proprietary coating over clear lenses, Chemistrie Blue reduces the transmission of violet-blue light to ease discomfort and digital eye strain while reducing glare and providing better visual contrast and improved focus. Chemistrie Blue is available in plano for single vision through +1.50 powers for patients with presbyopia and who have difficulty adjusting to the narrow intermediate corridor on most progressive lens designs. Like all Chemistrie clips, each Chemistrie Blue layer is base curve matched and custom made to fit any frame.
Selling Points: Excessive blue light is associated with today’s modern technology, including computer screens, smartphones and tablets. These devices can cause the symptoms of digital eye strain, including eye irritation, blurred vision, headaches, dry eyes and general fatigue. According to a recent study by The Vision Council, nearly 70 percent of adults in the U.S. have suffered from digital eye strain.
