L’Amy America Presents the TLG Collection
Quick Take: Short for thin, light glasses, the TLG Collection launched by L'Amy America combines innovative materials with technological features for a modern mens design. Wearer: The collection is designed for men who are looking for a modern, thin and lightweight frame. Specifics: Designed with 100 percent pure titanium for a lightweight, yet durable construction, the TLG collection of six optical styles features three unique concepts including wood temples, zipper temples and an integrated spring hinge. Selling Points: Combined with a titanium front and adjustable rubberized temple tips, the wood laminate temples of style NU004 and NU005 are constructed of different layers of wood veneers, including American Walnut, Chinese Walnut and American Maple. Specifically developed for the wood temple, these frames feature a hidden flex hinge made of injected TR90 and carbon composite mix for durability. Style NU008, NU011 and NU015 feature a patented zipper temple made of 100 percent titanium. Providing an ultra-thin, lightweight design, the zipper temple offers the benefit of having a spring hinge without the bulky construction and added weight, L’Amy said. For men who want a thick temple without the extra weight, style NU017 features an exclusive temple design with an integrated spring hinge made entirely of titanium. According to L’Amy, these designs, combined with an affordable price point, give this collection a compelling story and competitive advantage in the market. Price Guide: $$$ www.lamyamerica.com
