Match Eyewear Launches the Cosmopolitan Eyewear Collection

Specifics: The launch collection features 17 optical styles and three sunwear styles.
Selling Points: The fun, flirty colors and shapes in this collection are named after today’s most sought after “IT” girls. The Cosmopolitan Eyewear collection features fashionable styles in ladylike shapes from dramatic squares to sumptuous rounds. The Eva style in Tokyo Tortoise is a thick profile modified cat eye shape featuring a simple metal temple end cap. The Blake style is a strong angular shape with a see-through lace patterned front in black and see-through woven pattern in red. The Gigi is a thin profile square acetate with a spray of glitter on the end piece and temples. Cosmopolitan style, the Mia is a thin profile upswept acetate frame in a blue/green marbled pattern while the Taylor is an oversized, empowering round shape in subtle hues. “Acquiring the Cosmopolitan brand was just the next step in our growth plan for Match Eyewear," said Ethan Goodman, president of Match. "We are happy to be providing our accounts with a product line that is directly targeted to Millennials with a brand that influences this community.”

Altair Debuts Summer Styles to the Genesis Collection
Quick Take: Altair has released new styles to the Genesis collection for Summer 2017.
Specifics: Five new styles in men’s and women’s featuring high quality acetate, lightweight stainless steel and spring hinges.
Selling Points: For women, style G5039 is a rectangular silhouette featuring double laminate full-rim fronts with sculpted templates cut down to showcase a second layer of color. The G5040, also a rectangular style, has jewel-toned coloration that create a vibrant look. The G5041 is a lightweight but durable stainless steel model with handmade acetate temple tips. This frame features adjustable nose pads to accommodate various bridge fits. For men, the G4035 showcases rich colorways and horizontal fade fronts, modernizing this rectangular frame. Additionally, the G4036 is a semi-rimless frame which features satin stainless steel and two-toned temples that are adorned with a pressed zigzag pattern.
