Avalon Unveils WiRED Rimless Series
Wearer: Men ages 20 and up.
Specifics: The initial assortment consists of four men’s styles, including shapes from soft to cutting-edge rectangles in sizes from a 51 to a 54 eye, each coming in three colors such as gunmetal, navy/silver, bronze/gold and black.
Selling Points: The new rimless styles are inspired by the simplicity of design that is characteristic of Japanese and German engineering. Chassis are made from lightweight beta titanium and durable stainless steel, while the collection features a screwless, rimless, compression mount system. Soft suspension “floating” nosepads and smooth hinges provide an ergonomic fit and superior comfort. Future additions will expand the category to a complete range of unique chassis designs and looks from the minimalist to the maximalist, including men’s, unisex and women’s fashion styles. POP includes a 6-frame tower as well as single-frame logo plaque display kit, and counter cards. A trade based advertising and marketing campaign will focus on the extraordinary quality and modern styling of the line.
