The safety sleeve then adds two additional safety screws to lock in the sleeve to the frame front and to showcase the (M)Force technology plaque.
Selling Points: Division1 meets ASTM-F803 standards for impact resistance in soccer, baseball, basketball, women’s lacrosse and racquet sports. The frames can be fit with Rx-able or plano lenses. Division 1 frames are sold through independent distributors.

Tom Davies Adds New Color Technology
Tom Davies has developed a new technology for applying bold colors to titanium by modifying the ion plating technology the brand uses for its existing titanium colors. “Until now, any bright colors needed to be sprayed onto the surface of a frame,” said Davies. “Like most brands, we could only use electroplating or ion technology for a standard color palette. This new technique expands my color selection in new and exciting ways.” Unlike spraying, ion plating chemically changes the surface of titanium which makes the color close to scratch-resistant. The new technique was developed by TD in collaboration with ion plating specialists based near the brands Shenzhen workshop. The new range of colors is available on 12 new double bloc titanium frames.
