Götti Unveils New Acetate Styles
Götti has introduced new styles into their acetate W Series. According to the brand, acetate is light, durable and flexible and Götti’s design team has made the most of these characteristics to create new shapes and color combinations. The Woopy and Wana are milled from high-quality acetate sheets made exclusively for Götti and then polished and perfected down the slenderest line. The Woopy’s butterfly shape emphasizes feminine facial features. Though it features larger lines and appears a bit more daring, the Wana is the sleeker model. WooDone Presents New Ulmus Collection
Ulmus is the name given to the special edition of eyewear from WooDone covered with the leaves of the Wych Elm (ulmus glabra). Applied to any model in the collection, the WooDone team took twelve whole months to identify a tree with suitable leaves. A natural glue was chosen to apply the leaf to the eyewear and a natural lacquer finish is used to prevent the leaf from drying and changing color. According to the company, four hours of painstaking work are needed to achieve the final result. The veins of the leaf, whose pattern is uninterrupted from the temple pieces to the frame front, are enhanced by the lacquer finish. The resulting eyewear is one-of-a-kind since no leaf is identical to another. www.woodone.it
