Tura Presents Ted Baker’s Universal Fit Collection
More Images |
Wearer: “We developed this collection specifically for Asians as a response to the large demand from our customers,” said Crystal Throneburg, Tura’s product manager for the Ted Baker collection. “Through our research, we learned that the specific fits required for Asian features also flatter many other ethnicities with lower bridges, a flatter face form and higher cheekbones.”
Specifics: The collection includes four men’s and four women’s styles made from rich laminated acetate. The frames feature structured plastic bridges with either adjustable or deep nose pads for a more comfortable fit. A four base curve frame front, proper screw-to-screw width and bowed temples further flatter the intended demographic. With subtle Ted Baker branding, the frames are available in specially developed complimenting colors.
Selling Points: According to the company, style B876 for men brings a contemporary edge to the Universal Fit collection. Design features include a rectangular shape, color lamination and metal accents, while adjustable nose pads and spring hinges provide comfort and flexibility.

Nanofilm Bows Cleaner for Superhydrophobic AR Lenses
Wearer: Industry testing shows no lens cleaner is more effective or safe than Clarity AR, the company said. In addition, Nanofilm laboratories perform additional tests to assure the highest level of effective cleaning.
Specifics: Clarity AR is available in multiple product formats. “Clarity AR is a next-generation cleaner developed for today’s advanced coatings and lenses,” noted Rex Talbott, Nanofilm’s director of optical products.
Selling Points: Nanofilm chemists created a blend of surfactant wetting agents for the Clarity AR formulation to overcome the moisture repellency and “wet out” for better cleaning. Clarity AR also removes dirt, fingerprints and other soils on superhydrophobics better than other cleaners, the company said. Nanofilm chemists have developed a blend of specially selected surfactants to better bond to, break up, emulsify and lift soils off the lens and into the liquid. The dirt remains held in suspension, so it’s easily wiped away without being re-deposited.
