PSI Debuts Digital Lens Polish
Product: PSI’s Clearly Digital
Top Line: Clearly Digital from Practical Systems, Inc. (PSI) is a digital lens polish that’s specifically formulated for digital/free-form polishers.
Close Up: Offers exceptional surface quality with reduced haze for brilliant, crystal-clear lenses, according to PSI. Lasts three to five times longer than other polishes currently being used in digital systems due to its stabilized chemistry and alumina particle structure, resulting in substantial cost savings to the lab. Unique chemistry provides continuous machine cleaning during polishing. Non-corrosive formula will not degrade adhesive on the foam polish button or irritate operator’s skin. Canon USA CR-2 Digital Non-Mydriatic Retinal Camera Gets FDA Clearance

Close Up: Integrating the latest in Canon’s retinal imaging technology and enhancements in a compact frame, the Canon CR-2 Digital Non-Mydriatic Retinal Camera is the company’s newest and lightest retinal camera to date, weighing only 33 pounds. The CR-2 retinal camera can be easily installed or easily transported when needed. The illuminated control panel allows medical staff to navigate operations in darkened rooms. Contributing to a lower total-cost-of-ownership, the white LED lamp used in the CR-2 retinal camera uses less power than a xenon tube and lasts approximately twice as long, which can help to reduce energy costs in medical facilities.

Nidek's Navis-Ex software acquires images from Nidek's Fundus photography devices, including the AFC-230/AFC-210 Non-mydriatic Autofocus Fundus Camera and the F-10 Digital Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope. The interface allows the images to be transferred to ExamWriter version 9.5 and analyzed for the eyecare professional.
