US Ophthalmic Offers a Wide Range of Ezer Slit Lamps

Top Line: US Ophthalmic is introducing six Ezer slit lamps, including Haag-Streit-style tower illumination and Carl Zeiss-style level illumination systems.

- The ESL-1200 offers unsurpassed clarity and sharpness, while delivering crisp images and a wide field of view with excellent resolution. The ESL-1200 boasts a Carl Zeiss-style level illumination system and an advanced Cross-Angle Stereovision Converging Binocular Optical System. It is also user-friendly and ergonomically designed. The ESL-1200 features well-placed controls and two-step magnification that can be easily changed between 1x and 1.6x, using a conveniently located lever. Final magnification ratios are equivalent to 10x (∅18mm) and 16x (∅14.5mm) with the 10x eyepiece. Other features include a red LED fixation light, built in filters, and continuous slit rotation.
- ESL-2600 features outstanding wide-field optical performance, and quality design. It offers Haag-Streit-style tower illumination in a Cross-Angle Stereovision Converging Binocular Optical System. Well-placed controls and two-step magnification can be easily changed between 1x and 1.6x, using a conveniently located lever. Final magnification ratios are equivalent to 10x (∅18mm) and 16x (∅14.5mm) with the 10x eyepiece. Intuitively well-placed controls combined with superior optics make diagnostic procedures and contact lens fittings easy. A high luminance halogen lamp provides excellent clarity, and four built-in Illumination Pathway Filters can be easily switched out. The ESL-2600 also can be equipped with a Goldman applanation tonometer.
- ESL-5200 offers Haag-Streit-style tower illumination in a Cross-Angle Stereovision Converging Binocular Optical System. The ESL-5200 features well-placed controls and two-step magnification that can be easily changed between 1x and 1.6x, using a conveniently located lever. Two available eyepieces (10x and 16x) really set this unit apart by offering even greater flexibility when examining ocular structures. Furthermore, the ESL-5200 includes a Hruby Lens Kit for performing fundus exams and can also be equipped with an applanation tonometer. Other features include two fixation options, reflecting mirrors, a tilt mechanism and four illumination filters.
- ESL-1800 features a smooth, classic design that allows for precise movements and easy operation of the joystick and knobs. This Carl Zeiss-style illumination system offers an advanced Galilean Converging Optical System and excellent wide-field optical performance. Conveniently placed controls combined with superior optics simplify diagnostic procedures and contact lens fittings, while a five-step magnification changer offers one of the best zoom ratios in its class—final magnification ratios are equivalent to 6x, 10x, 16x, 25x, and 40x, with the 12.5x eyepiece. A high luminance halogen lamp provides excellent clarity, and three built-in Illumination Pathway Filters can be easily switched out.
- The ESL-7800 Slit Lamp is one of the highest quality slit lamps in Ezer’s series. Designed in the traditional tower style configuration, the ESL-7800 offers specialized optics, greater magnification levels and wide field-of-view. It features an advanced Galilean Optical System and a five-step revolving drum that allows for an easier exchange of the magnification levels than exchanging an eyepiece. Using the unit’s Accessories Mount, the ESL-7800 can be equipped with a Goldman applanation tonometer as well as several other accessories, including video accessories. High-clarity luminance, two reflecting mirrors, four built in filters, two fixation targets, and a Hruby Lens Kit are among the many specialty items that practitioners will benefit from when selecting the high-end ESL-7800.
- The well-equipped ESL-9000C features an advanced Galilean converging optical system with outstanding magnification and field of view. Canon’s 18 megapixel 450D SLR camera offers outstanding image capture. The imaging unit easily and seamlessly attaches to this high-end slit lamp microscope. Real-time dynamic display is available on the camera’s three-inch LCD under perfect lighting that you can precisely control.
