Schneider Brings Digital Surfacing to Smaller Labs With Compact, Affordable Nano Line
Product: Nano Line
Top Line: Schneider's new Nano Line gives labs access to digital surfacing technology for a very low investment without compromising quality or full range capability.
Close Up: The HSC Nano generator and CCP Nano polisher make up the space saving Nano line. The extra small and economically priced generator comes in two versions: HSC Nano X and XP. "Both machines impressively demonstrate that with Schneider, small size and investment don't equal a compromise in quality or lens geometry. In fact, the Nano XP even exceeds the capability of big performance machines in terms of curve range. It really opens new doors for small surfacing operations that need full digital capability at the lowest investment," said Gunter Schneider, president of Schneider.
The entry level HSC Nano X, with its optional cribbing spindle and built-in laser unit, enable small operations to manufacture virtually any free-form design from any location, according to Schneider. The partner lab version, HSC Nano XP, includes full milling capabilities for faster processing, automated calibration, and the fast, high quality laser engraving system of the "bigger" machines.
The CCP Nano polisher combines macro-driven polish results with its small package. The unit handles up to 18 dpt curves, the highest range in the industry. Both machines utilize a simple, touch screen interface for easy operation of the intelligent processes.
"The Nano Line offers the finest digital surfacing capability available and in the smallest package. And the line offers the advanced results you expect from Schneider technology," said Kurt Atchison, president of Schneider North America.
