Briot USA and Visionix Introduce VL1000 Automatic Lensmeter

Close Up: The VL1000 automatic lensmeter provides fast and easy measurement of progressive, prism, PD, UV and contact lenses. With recognizable icons, the VL1000 offers a user-friendly graphical interface for immediate understanding. Dynamic displays are shown through the color LCD. In the PAL mode, progressive lenses are automatically detected, with a graph to improve accuracy and speed in the measurement of near and far vision. The VL1000 offers a UV mode with graphical presentation of the percentage of UV transmission. Soft and hard contact lenses are measured easily and precisely using the specialized mechanical jig and display. “Speed and accuracy, combined with a competitive price, make the new VL1000 automatic lensmeter the best value in the market,” said Joel Kozlowski, marketing director of Visionix.
