Demand for variable focus eyewear in the U.S. has led Adlens, a leader in the category, to launch its online sales channel. Adlens variable focus eyewear is available worldwide, with retailers carrying its technology available at
www.adlens.com. Adlens is also encouraging wearers to try the technology for themselves in-store, but with its retail network in its infancy, an online shop has become a necessity, the company maintains. Now, in addition to purchasing in stores across the country, consumers can also buy the John Lennon, Hemisphere and Emergensee collections direct from Adlens online by visiting
shop.adlens.com. Customizable for up to 90 people in need of vision correction, through a simple adjustment to dials on the sides of the frame, the lenses are currently available in six models across three collections in 26 colors, with new products entering the market later this year. "Our e-commerce features will help satisfy rapidly growing consumer demand as we continue to expand global retail channels," said Michael C. Ferrara, executive chairman of Adlens. For every pair of glasses purchased from The John Lennon Collection and Hemisphere Sun and optical ranges, Adlens donates a pair of eyeglasses to someone in the developing world through its Buy One Give One program, administered through its charitable partner organization, Vision for a Nation.
