Latest News AAOF Names 23 Recipients of 2018 Johnson & Johnson Vision J. Pat Cummings Scholarship By Staff Tuesday, October 30, 2018 12:15 AM ORLANDO—The American Academy of Optometry Foundation (AAOF) has announced the 2018 recipients of the Johnson & Johnson Vision J. Pat Cummings Scholarship. Every year, the AAOF awards this scholarship to exceptional second or third year optometry students. These students are the ones who best demonstrate the ideal eyecare standards of practice, achievement in the classroom and extracurriculars, as well as participation in other professional pursuits such as interactions with patients through internships, community service and other volunteer activities.
