NEW YORK—Registration is now open for the new online auction feature as a part of the Optical Women’s Association’s (OWA) annual networking and raffle event. While the event will take place at Vision Expo West, the auction can be accessed from anywhere by using a mobile device, so those who may not be at Vision Expo West can still join in on the fun. Additionally, bidding on items is open to everyone, whether they’re an OWA member or not. The networking and raffle event will take place on Friday, Sept. 28 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Venetian Level 3, Lido Room 3004. Admission is free, but advanced registration is required. Items available during the auction include: travel packages, designer handbags, electronics, sports memorabilia, designer sunglasses and gift cards. Online bidding begins at 7 a.m. (PST) Wednesday, September 26, 2018, and ends at 7 p.m. (PST) Friday, September 28, 2018.

Click here to register. Once registration is submitted, each person will receive a text assigning them a bidder number. Closer to the date of the event, another text message will be sent out to confirm and finalize bidding procedure. Each person must be registered in order to place a bid.
