Latest News Eye Health America Recaps its Investments and Growth Through 2018 By Staff Wednesday, January 2, 2019 12:21 AM ATLANTA—Eye Health America (EHA), a leader in eyecare practice management, announced last week that it concluded 2018 with seven acquisitions of ophthalmology and optometry practices and ambulatory surgery centers across the Southeast United States and that it expects to continue its expansion in 2019. Eye Health America was established in 2018 by LLR Partners, a lower middle-market private equity firm, and has grown to more than 500 employees in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida, according to the company’s announcement re-capping its 2018 results.“I am thankful for the trust these companies have placed in us and could not be more excited for the future,” Rod Roeser, chief executive officer of Eye Health America, said in the announcement. “As the eyecare industry continues to consolidate, EHA is well-positioned to capitalize on these investment opportunities and help practices navigate the changes to our industry.”In 2019, EHA said it plans to expand into new markets in the Southeast as “more eyecare practices turn to private equity for capital, business expertise and relief from the administrative burdens that take time away from clinical services.” The company also noted that it has begun construction on a new corporate office in Roswell, Ga., which is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2019.
