NEW YORK—The CEO of one of the nation’s largest optical retail chains, a leading digital business strategy consultant and experts from across the telehealth spectrum have joined the program at Vision Monday’s Global Leadership Summit, to be held at the Times Center here on March 14. They and other top thinkers and influencers will discuss new ways to “workSMART.” A morning Summit session will feature Reade Fahs, the CEO of National Vision. He will address the importance of social responsibility and the need for organizational agility in today’s business world.Fahs has served as the CEO of National Vision since January 2003. Fahs also co-founded Frames for the World, a nonprofit that provides new eyeglass frames to clinics in Latin America to use in their work with underserved communities.Anh Phillips, a researcher and author at Deloitte Services LP, spearheads strategic thought leadership initiatives for Deloitte US firms. She dedicates her time to understanding the impact of emerging digital technologies on an organization’s leadership, talent and culture. Her research has been cited in leading publications such as The Wall Street Journal, MIT Sloan Management Review and Fortune. In that role, Smith works closely with ATA members on growth strategies amid rapidly changing forces in the health care market, including consolidation, consumerism and new payment models. Smith began her career as a health policy advisor in the U.S. Senate, and later joined the Advisory Board Company, a health care consultancy, where she studied and worked with several dozen of the largest U.S. health systems and integrated delivery networks.Wallace Lovejoy is an independent health care consultant, specializing in eyecare and optical retailing. He is the founder of Lovejoy Eyecare Consulting, whose clients include the National Association of Optometrists and Opticians, top U.S. optical retailers, private equity and venture capital organizations and health and wellness companies affected by state and federal regulation of health care services and prescription products.
