DALLAS—This year, The Optical Women’s Association is celebrating its “star birthday”—turning 22 on March 22, 2019. To honor this special anniversary, and over two decades of supporting and promoting the professional development of women in the optical industry, the OWA is throwing a "star birthday" party during Vision Expo East. The OWA’s Friday evening event, called “The OWA Star Birthday celebration—Cheers to 22 Years!” will take place in the Javits Center, South Concourse Hall E Atrium, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22.

This is the first time that the OWA’s annual Friday evening event will take place inside the Javits Center, and invites are extended to members and non-members alike. There is no charge to attend, but attendees are encouraged to RSVP. The birthday celebration will include networking, cupcakes and cocktails.
