Top Line: Super Optical International, the lens and equipment provider behind the FastGrind “All-In-One” Lens Surfacing System, has announced key additions to their BlueShield line. These additions include multifocal SHMC and semi-finished SHMC.
Close Up: Super Optical’s BlueShield lenses for FastGrind block over 95 percent of the blue light specifically associated with age related macular degeneration and eyestrain, as well as an average of over 85 percent of other generally harmful blue light. Now, the BlueShield line will expand to include Super Optical’s most popular progressive, ADDvantage HD Plus with SHMC. These progressives will be available in short and regular corridor, and will additionally feature Super Optical’s best SHMC, CLARITY.
Vital Stats: Single vision BlueShield SHMC for FastGrind users and semi-finished SHMC for conventional surfacing are expected to be available in approximately 60 days. Super Optical International is offering a special 20 percent discount on 15 or more pairs of BlueShield ADDvantage HD Plus SHMC on preorders placed by Jan. 31, 2019.
