Canadian singer, songwriter and music producer Nasri Atweh is no stranger to writing hits. As part of the Grammy-winning production team, The Messengers with Adam Messinger, he won a Grammy Award in 2012 for Best R&B Album for Chris Brown’s F.A.M.E. He has also been responsible for tracks by top artists including Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never” and Pitbull’s “Feel This Moment.” Nasri made his move from the studio to frontman with the reggae fusion band Magic!, whose first single “Rude” became a major international hit which topped charts and spawned several famous covers. Lady Gaga had a pretty quiet year. You know, if you consider putting out a Grammy Award nominated album with a bonafide music legend a quiet year. Gaga collaborated with the incomparable Tony Bennett to release Cheek to Cheek, an album of jazz standards by popular jazz composers like George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin, in order to introduce the songs to a younger generation. The album has been nominated for a Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album Grammy. Nonetheless, those looking for more traditional Gaga fare don’t have long to wait, the artist confirmed in December she is working on her next album. Our last Bold Face artist is almost guaranteed a Grammy at the upcoming ceremony. Iggy Azalea had a huge 2014 and is nominated for four awards, including Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Fancy" with Charli XCX and Best Rap Album for The New Classic. Despite the monumental year, Azalea is not resting on her laurels. A reissue of The New Classic, first released in April, titled Reclassified, was released in November 2014 featuring five new songs, including a new single "Beg for It." To top it off, this month Azalea announced she had started to work on her second studio album.
