Raen had announced plans to expand with the formation of Raen Optics GmbH or Raen Europe. Christian Grund, the founder of RAEN’s former European eyewear distributor, Eyegents, will lead this new division. Grund helped RAEN grow significantly in the region over the past two years, establishing itself as a top player in the premium eyewear market. In this new role he will be responsible for all business across Germany and France, where this division will serve, including sales, marketing, distribution and operations and will report to RAEN vice president of sales, Scott Chantos.

venture between

Marcolin S.p.A, the Manifattura Thélios was officially inaugurated on April 24 here, an Italian town known for its eyewear expertise. The new facility is dedicated to the production of glasses for the houses or “maisons” belonging to the LVMH group. Toni Belloni, group managing director ofthe LVMH group, Jean Baptiste Voisin, chief strategy officer of the LVMH group, and Giovanni Zoppas, chairman and CEO of Thélios, officially opened this key building for the group, “conceived of as a place of excellence for the eyewear sector,” the announcement said.

The Wichryk’s were asked to star exclusively in this year’s campaign due to their love of Made in Italy product and their affinity for the Elasta and Emozioni brands, the company said.
