Tired of explaining why you have a long string of numbers as the URL for your Google+ page? Then you'll be as excited as I am to hear Google+ is finally rolling out custom URLs for both personal profiles and pages. The next time you log in you'll notice a bar across the top of your browser with their suggested new name. You have the option to suggest a different one to fit your brand better but it must be requested. It may take a few days for them to approve it. I'm still waiting on mine for my personal page.

Of course if you're looking for a big brand you may be able to do this already by just going to google.com/+Tatudigital, for example.

Other Options
If you don't see the option to get a custom URL yet, don't worry, they're rolling them out. In the meantime you could use the Google URL shortener GPlusto to create a shortcut like this.

Use your own domain name or sub domain (googleplus.mydomain.com) and just point it to your Google+ page.

Please note, in the Privacy and Policy doc, Google reserves the right to remove the URL at any time and may at some point charge for this service. Still, I'm thrilled to see this change!
