Precision Vision Offers Low Contrast Test for Children
Product: Peek-a-Boo Patti Low Contrast Vision Test (Cat. No. 2535)
Top Line: Precision Vision is introducing Peek-a-Boo Patti, a vision test set for children consisting of four oval cards which are printed on both sides with contrast levels of 1.25 percent, 2.5 percent, 5 percent, 10 percent, 25 percent and full contrast.
Close Up: These cards rely on the idea that children and infants respond better to faces than to random symbols or shapes. These cards use a Peek-a-Boo Patti shape to hold the attention of children. Each card uses the same shape and is printed in six different contrast levels. With the use of the presentation card, testing is quick and easy. The child should respond to each contrast level they see. Precision Vision recommends Peek-a-Boo Patti cards for testing infants and those with mental disabilities.
Vital Stats: The cards are priced at $195 for eyecare professionals. They measure 20.3 x 25.4 cm (8 x10 in.), and are durable and washable. One card is left blank for presentation.
