Quick Take: Design Eyewear Group has released a new collection of Face a Face styles for spring 2019 that explores transparencies and playful hues with optical effects.
Specifics: “Sometimes a detail is nearly invisible when transparent and other times it is highlighted when colorful,” said creative director, Pascal Jaulent. “The way light and color intertwine is truly captivating.” These styles exude unique expression that has been created by color and lighting effects.
Selling Points: The Anouk1 optical style is an interpretation of the geometry of the Prism sun concept which was launched at SILMO 2018. The Anouk model plays with the triangle shapes to create a look that redefines the eyees. The thin metal temples are set high for a refined and trendy look while a sculpted end-tip with strong facets finishes off this look. Also new to this collection is the DJAZZ2. Thiis model shows off an edgy look that is  created through the absence of color. The design was inspired by mixing the concepts of the 1920s and 1930s Art Deco movement and the vibrant Jazz Age. "Geometric shapes meet vibrant colors and turn into innovative designs," the company stated.
