Quick Take: Luxottica’s Ray-Ban has introduced its #ProudtoBelong campaign this holiday season and in creating this #ProudtoBelong atmosphere, has relaunched two of its seminal hero styles.
Specifics: Luxottica has relaunched the Meteor and the Nina, styles born in the 1960s.
Selling Points: “For almost 80 years Ray-Ban has been forging its name as the most iconic eyewear brand. Ray-Ban glasses tell a story through decades, trends and the people that wear them. It’s about seeing and being seen, and ownership of one’s own individuality – of dictating who we are instead of being told,” the company said. The Meteor is practical and modern while still  tapping into a feeling of nostalgia. Inspired by the Wayfarer, it comes with a rounder lens and larger bridge. The Nina frame style fro Ray-Ban is shows off a sharp cat eye silhouette coupled with a keyhole bridge and iconic rivets. The Nina exudes the spirit of 1960's sensuality distilled into eyewear.
