March 14 (or, 3.14) was Pi Day, which was first celebrated in 1988, and coined by phycisist Larry Shaw. Not only does the numerical date of March 14 match the first three digits of Pi, but, by happen accident, it was also Albert Einstein’s birthday. Thankfully, you don’t have to be a mathematician to celebrate—Eye Associates in Overland Park, Kansas, shared some fun facts about pi (and pie) on Twitter. You can learn more about Pi Day, and how to celebrate, here.
